Room Configurations

Shown below are just a few of the ideas possible. Click the thumbnails to zoom in.

Possible Uses of Popular Meeting Room Configurations

Conference and Hollow Square: Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions.
E-shape, U-shape and T-shape: These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual equipment is usually set up at the open end of the seating.
Ovals and rounds: Generally used for sessions involving small group discussions.
Theater: Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Classroom: Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.

That’s not all folks!

Beyond our four walls is a beautiful grassy lot under shady oak trees. Get out and stretch your group, spread out for some team-building activities, or just have lunch and enjoy the picnic atmosphere!
